Kiernan - Autopilot, Review

 Kiernan - Autopilot Review By Chilly Oppa      Sometimes, the right song finds you at the right time, and that’s exactly what happened with Autopilot.   Kiernan's music feels like a warm healing hug to me, and on a day when I felt creatively defeated and overwhelmed by life’s pressures, that's just what I needed. The track opens with enchanting country coated strings, a gentle drum line and Laura Kiernan's signature timeless vocals. In an Instagram post promoting the new single, Kiernan states, " Autopilot is many things - a song about fear swelling up, about embarrassment and guilt, about driving away too fast". That translated extremely well on the track and highlighted the comforting essence of the song. One of the many stand out lyrics to me was, "It got so hard to breathe that night, I had to turn on all the lights".
